ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Foil lined side gusset paper bags, also sometimes called Hot Chicken bags are made with a sustainable foodgrade kraft paper lined with aluminium foil and a PE lamination. They offer great thermal insulation to help keep food warm for longer.
This is a poplar bag with all takeaway food business’, not just chicken fast food retailers!
Its great for naan breads, paninis, toasties, kebabs, and cooked meats including chicken.
PRINTING OPTIONS
Flexo printed with rubber printing plates. We use water based pantone inks. Spot colour printing is U solid uncoated 1,2,3,4 colours or we offer CMYK printing for large order sizes.
There is a set up charge to make the printing plates for your 1st order however we keep them for future orders, so it really is a one off set up charge. They keep well and can be used for many years to come.
The screen ruling for designs with tints and tonal elements is 55 LPI so shaded areas are best kept to a minimum as the dots can be quite visible to the naked eye and are not fine like digital or litho prints.
SIZES
The most popular size is 7 ” x 9″ x 12″ which can take a 3lb cooked chicken. In metric measurements this is 18cm wide + 5cm side expansion x 30cm long.
We have a wider choice of sizes possible with our European partners.

ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS
We use FSC paper and water based inks, however the disposal of this bag is challenging in terms of the environment because as a food contaminated item, this prevents recycling in a household bin, and unfortunately it will end up in landfill.
