ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Juco is a lovely hybrid mix of both jute and cotton. It gives the durability and strength of jute with the tighter weave and finer surface of cotton. We prefer juco for any fine complex designs, it really does give a beautiful high end quality finish. The fabric can be dyed to any shade in the rainbow, however it always starts off a natural beige shade. We can dye the handles to coordinate with the bag design and colouring and bind with matching trims. Edge to edge printing is easy, using pantone screen printing or embroidery for the best results.
PRINTING OPTIONS
Embroidery and screen printing work best with this material. Our factory can print one or both faces of the bags and if there is a side gusset, we can print that too.
SIZES
Popular sizes include 40cm wide + 18cm side x 35cm high for a large shopping bag or 30cm wide x 18cm side x 30cm high for a smaller shopping bag but as they are made to order, any size is possible.
FINISHING TOUCHES
The bags can be tailored to suit your exact needs and include extras such as:
- Short or long handles, cotton stuffed, flat tape, cane, bamboo or leatherette
- A gift card tag with barcode for easy retailing / resale
- Internal pockets
- External pockets
- Zips
- Velcro
MINIMUM ORDER (MOQ)
Natural undyed material has a lower MOQ, starting at 250 bags. Dyed bespoke colours of material usually require 1000 bags as a MOQ although larger bags can sometimes qualify for a lower MOQ of 500 bags
DELIVERY TIMESCALE
Our standard lead time is 18-10 weeks for the best prices although a fastrack service is possible for delivery within 8 weeks, this is achieved by airfreighting the bags.
ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS
As a natural based material, jute and cotton are both natural crops so the eco credentials of Juco are proven. Sometimes we are asked to remove the internal lamination from the bags we produce. This is actually counter intuitive as it will reduce the lifespan of the bag, making it a Bag For Short Life!
Our factories are all carefully audited to the highest standards. While the bags are imported we are careful
to choose sea and train routes to our local port, Grangemouth, and we try to consolidate orders so they don’t travel alone. This helps to keep the carbon footprint as low as possible.
